RBR 140: It takes One to know One

Well the Red Bulls extended their unbeaten streak to 7, but only managed 2 points in 2 home matches. The boys look at what happened against the LA Galaxy & Colorado Rapids. Jake Catanese of The Bent Musket joins as this week’s guest to look at the upcoming match in Foxboro. In the final segment, it’s previews for New England, the International Champions Cup, and the US Open Cup. Oh, and Pat has some distractions as well.

The boys talk about the New York Red Bulls 2-0 victory against the San Jose Earthquakes and then are joined by Sean Steffen to talk about the visiting LA Galaxy. Finally the guys wrap up with predictions for LA, TV information for the midweek visit from the Colorado Rapids, and some miscellaneous items to discuss.

The boys are back after the New York Red Bulls finally play a match! It was a draw with D.C. United, but it was a match! The New York Red Bulls II also had a match but it didn't go so well. Frank Giase also joins the conversation to delve into the quick start and what it means. In the final segment, the boys predict the San Jose Earthquakes match, English language (internet) radio, and a service announcement.

With a bye week on the horizon, there isn’t much to talk about, especially with an impressive 2-1 victory over Columbus Crew SC. The guys talk about that, and bring on Aaron Bauer in the guest segment to learn about NYRB II and USL. The final segment is more wrestling than soccer as the guys try to remember who they picked in their Wrestlemania preview.
